Turret Operator and Set Up -Sheet Metal

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Performs duties necessary to cut a variety of different types of sheet metal l using Turret table equipment

- Is responsible for the proper set-up, and monitoring Turret equipment.

- Loads equipment with sheet metal to prepare the equipment for an accurate cut

- Measures material before/after cutting

- Performs preventive maintenance as needed

- Knowledge of sheet metal equipment

- Fabricate custom sheet metal parts

- Must have the ability to read and interpret project plans

- Follows written and / or verbal instructions

- Other support duties required and assigned by supervisor

Experience / Qualifications:

- MUST HAVE: A minimum of one (1) year previous Turret work experience

- Tooling knowledge

- Read and understand measuring tools and equipment

- Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts

- Perform math including converting fractions to decimals or vice versa

- Understand and read blueprints

- Knowledge of general shop procedures and rules including safety precautions

- Willingness to cooperate with co-workers and work as part of a production team

- Dedicated, focused and self-motivated

- Pre-employment drug screening, lift test, and physical, required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.60 per hour
