Turquoise Ridge - Underground Production Miner

Our people division is growing, and we are looking for an Underground Production Miner with our Underground Operations department.

Reporting to the Underground Operations Production Supervisor, the Underground Production Miner works as an essential member of the production team and is responsible for the following:

- Able to operate Single and Two Boom Jumbo

- Able to operate 6yd and 9yd Loaders

- Able to understand different rock types and drilling/blasting procedures to minimize over-break

- Able to operate mechanized bolter

- Able to operate shotcrete equipment

- Able to handle explosives and load rounds in a safe and productive manner

- Able to install utilities such as ventilation and air/water pipe

- Perform other duties as assigned from time to time at the discretion of the company

Qualifications

- One (1) year underground mining experience preferred

- Previous heavy equipment operation experience preferred

- Ability to work safely and effectively in an underground mining environment required

- Stable, consistent work history required

- The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.
