Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tube Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic ALPHASTEEL team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and product quality. This role requires a strong background in engineering principles, particularly in injection molding and CNC operations, as well as a passion for continuous improvement and innovation within the manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
•Willingness to travel overseas to participate in Company’s internal training for an extensive period of time before commencement of work and frequently on a ongoing basis .
•Establish and optimize automated production sequences for torque tube fabrication by applying the Company's internal processes, tools, and methods for system-wide automation, utilizing Allen-Bradley RSLogix for programmable logic control and Simatic SIMIT for real-time operation simulation;
•Enhance equipment efficiency through the Company's internal performance improvement practices, supported by Tableau for data analytics and Predix Asset Performance Management for predictive maintenance;
•Implement virtual simulations to refine workflows and tooling using the Company's internal optimization tools, in conjunction with DEFORM and SolidWorks/UG NX for process modeling and design evaluation ;
•Drive production optimization efforts by applying the Company's internal data-driven improvement methodologies, integrating Tableau for operational insights and EnergyCAP for sustainability assessments ;
•Ensure product quality and consistency using the Company's internal quality control protocols, with support from Weldplanner for welding simulation and GE InspectionWorks for inspection and validation ;
•Extend the life and reliability of critical components and molds by following the Company's internal durability enhancement strategies, utilizing SolidWorks and UG NX for analysis and optimization
•Lead quality assurance initiatives by implementing the Company's proprietary inspection and process control methods, validating results using software-assisted tools and systematic documentation
•Promote sustainable manufacturing practices using the Company's internal recycling, utilization, and environmental management approaches, tracked and analyzed via EnergyCAP
•Supervise welding process adaptations for various materials in alignment with the Company's internal guidelines, coordinating with AMADA systems and GE InspectionWorks for performance monitoring
•Optimize machining operations through the Company's internal stress mitigation and alignment methods, supported by Cognex VisionPro for precision and quality control
•Refine sawing and cutting techniques using the Company's internal parameter optimization models, employing Saw-Tune for simulation-based adjustment
•Monitor equipment performance and surface treatments using integrated software platforms such as Predix APM and COPRA, aligned with the Company's internal operational standards
•Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement the Company's internal joining and deformation control techniques, validated through digital simulation and field testing
•Maintain technical documentation using SolidWorks, RSLogix, and Simatic SIMIT, ensuring accurate records of system configuration, adjustments, and engineering improvements
•Analyze production data and operational trends using COPRA and internal review tools to support continuous improvement aligned with company-wide process standards
•Train and supervise technical staff in the application of the Company's internal methods and procedures, ensuring safe and effective use of advanced manufacturing systems supported by tools such as AMADA, GE InspectionWorks, and COPRA
Requirement:
•Professional proficiency in all of the following: Simatic SIMIT, Predix Asset Performance Management, COPRA, Allen-Bradley RSLogix, Weldplanner. GE InspectionWorks. Tableau. DEFORM. EnergyCAP. SolidWorks. UG NX. Cognex VisionPro .Saw-Tune. AMADA
•Willingness to work flexible hours, including evening or night shifts, as required to support production operations
•Prior experience working in a multicultural and cross-functional team environment is preferred
•Ability to adapt to dynamic manufacturing schedules and troubleshoot technical issues under time-sensitive conditions
•Strong communication and collaboration skills across engineering, quality, and production teams
