Truck Driver Class A CDL

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage various types of freight.

Duties

- Operate a tractor-trailer or roll-off truck to transport freight to designated locations.

- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods.

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including route details and cargo documentation.

- Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to delivery schedules.

- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding route changes or delays.

- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to commercial driving.

Qualifications

- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements

- Operate (according to CDL endorsement) manuel and automatic trucks.

- Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with tractor-trailers or roll-off trucks.

- Strong knowledge of route driving and freight handling procedures.

- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Must pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment.
