CDL Class A Truck Driver

We are looking for an experienced Class A truck driver with tandem dump, belly dump, and side dump experience to join our growing team. We haul sand, gravel, contaminate and other earth materials locally. Driver must be over the age of 23 with valid CDL Class A, must have a CLEAN driving record and ability to pass pre employment drug screening and random screenings.

Responsibilities

- Transport aggregate materials locally.

- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance, Pre trip/ Post trip inspections.

- Document daily loads and turn in nightly, utilize electronic time tracking software.

- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures

- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions

- Load and unload equipment

- Properly securing loads

- Collect, verify and respond to dispatches

- Report defects, accidents or violations utilizing technology

- Electronically record time spent on each job daily for invoicing and payroll purposes

Skills

- 4 years proven work experience as a truck driver

- Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations

- No moving or driving violations

- Oilfield experience is a must, SAFELAND certified, and valid H2S & CPR/1st Aid.

- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)

- Valid class A CDL and current medical card required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
