Job Summary
Please note: This opening will be ONSITE - 5 days in office.
Responsible to the Transmission Planning Manager for performing a mix of routine and complex transmission system planning and analysis, evaluation of prospective load and generation customer impact, and project sponsorship functions requiring the application of engineering knowledge in a safe, efficient, and economic manner to accomplish assigned objectives.

Engineer Associate (GRADE 5)
Salary Range: $61,647 - $77,057
Salary Range: $72,380- $90,475.
Has typically acquired 2 or more years of related engineering experience along with a Bachelor's degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET
License: Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in any U.S. state or Puerto Rico* is encouraged and preferred. Confirmation is required to ensure the PE obtained in Puerto Rico aligns with NCEES standards.Has typically acquired 4 or more years of related engineering experience along with a Bachelor's degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET; or 2 years of related engineering experience along with a Master’s degree in engineering from a program accredited by ABET* Individuals with a PhD in engineering from an engineering program accredited by ABET may be considered for entry into the organization at this level Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in any U.S. state or Puerto Rico* is preferred. License: Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in any U.S. state or Puerto Rico* is encouraged and preferred.
