Job Summary
Assist Transmission Field Services (TFS) management and field personnel in assigned TFS Area(s) with the interpretation and development of safe work methods and procedures, the implementation of best practices, development and administration of capital and/or maintenance work plan, preparation of cost estimates to applicable work, the utilization of technology, the development of streamlined documentation and reporting, the development of IT systems that will assist TFS, the identification of appropriate refresher training and new equipment training; and, assist with the facilitation of information sharing meetings. Based on discipline (Station, P&C, or Line) some duties may not be applicable.

To be eligible a candidate must meet the education requirement for external candidates and demonstrate equivalent knowledge and skills required of Trans Field Svcs Coord to be qualified for entry at this level, in addition to meeting the requirements below, if the position is within TFS Line or TFS Station Functional Groups. Note: Groups outside of the TFS Line or Station functions may have
different competencies.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
TFS Line functional group: Competency shown in the following activities to be considered for TFS Coord position in the TFS Line functional group: 1) Schedule work for internal & external contract crews. 2) Assists with weekly coordination meetings. 3) Review of invoices for local contractor work. 4) Local support/representation on project meetings/calls. 5) Create Purchase Requisition (PR) entries for material acquisition and verification. 6) Generate Bill of Material lists for specific projects. 7) Create Field Work Requests and provide PR Change Order support for local Admin. 8) Create TFS Work Orders and manage through completion. 9) Create rehab project work packets. 10) Plan rental equipment for projects. 11) Create maintenance work packets. 12) Provides support on T/D outage requests to work scheduler. 13) Provides TFS committee/initiative/project support 14) Implement planned area workplan. 15) Provide local failure project support for a single project.
TFS Station functional group: Competency shown in the following activities to be considered for TFS Coord position in the TFS Station functional group: 1) Assists with weekly coordination meetings. 2)Review of invoices for local contractor work. 3) Local support/representation on project meeting/calls. 4) Capital checklist oversight lead for area. 5) Create Purchase Requisitions (PR) entries for material acquisition and verification. 6) Generate Bill of Material lists for specific projects. 7) Create Field Work Requests and provide PR Change Orders support for local Admin. 8) Create TFS Work Orders and manage through completion. 9) Create rehab project work packets. 10) Plan rental equipment for projects. 11) Provides support on T/D outage requests to work scheduler. 12) Provide TFS committee/initiative/project support. 13) Plan and coordinate mobile transformer installations. 14) Participate in project hand off meetings. 15) Manage capital tool budget for assigned area. 16) Implement planned are workplan. 17) Provide local failure project support for a single project.

For those candidates holding position titles that are not within the Trans Field Svcs Coord job family: To be eligible a candidate must meet the education requirement for external candidates and must demonstrate equivalent knowledge and skills required of Trans Field Svcs Coord Sr to be qualified for entry at this level in addition to meeting the requirements below, if the position is within TFS Line or TFS Station Functional Groups. Note: Groups outside of the TFS Line or Station functions may have different competencies.
Utility field experience would include Transmission or Distribution Line, Station, P&C or Technical Support experience; or maintenance and/or construction work/project scheduling or project controls experience.

TFS Line functional group: Competency shown in the following activities to be considered for TFS Coord Sr position in the TFS Line functional group: 1) Provide oversight on internal crew and external contractors in assigned area. 2) Provide oversight/interface on EPC work in given area. 3) Proficiency in rehab project selection based on existing rehab budgets, project efficiencies, and contractor selection. 4) Manage capital/NSW budget with local supervision. 5) Manage O&M budget with local supervision. 6) Act as TFS Progression Testing Lead. 7)Fills in for Exempt Supervisor as needed in assigned area. 8) Manage specific assignments to region (grading, vegetation removal coordination, etc.). 9) Develop workplan for entire assigned area. 10) Provide local failure project support for multiple projects (ie. storms). 11) Lead a committee/initiative/project.
TFS Station functional group: Competency shown in the following activities to be considered for TFS Coord Sr position in the TFS Station functional group: 1) Provide oversight on internal crews and external contractors in assigned area. 2) Provide oversight/interface on EPC work in given area. 3) Proficiency in rehab project selection based on existing rehab budgets, project efficiencies, and contractor selection. 4) Manage Capital/NSW budget with local supervision. 5) Manage O&M budget with local supervision. 6) Act as TFS Progression Testing Lead. 7) Lead in Defective Equipment Mitigation resolution coordination. 8) Fills in for Exempt Supervisor as needed in assigned area. 9) Fills in for local STS Field Engineer as needed in assigned area. 10) Manage specific assignments to region (fence replacements, grading, vegetations removal coordination, etc.). 11) Develop workplan for entire assigned area. 12) Provide local failure project support for multiple projects (i.e. Storms). 13) Lead a committee/initiative/project.

Compensation Range:
$72,380.00-90,474.50 USD
