- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 6 years of related work experience.
- Any equivalent combination of certifications, education, or experience that provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities for the position
- May require 6G Welding Certification (fabrication).
- May require Vibration/Analysis Certification (mechanic).
- Must be able to possess and maintain a valid Class 'R' Colorado driver's license and have a satisfactory driving record.

Position Summary
Trade Shop Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily planning, organizing, and evaluation of all tasks performed by trade shop technicians. Ensure all technicians perform accurate, quality, and timely work assignments. This position develops and maintains reports used to analyze and evaluate business process measures, work requirements, and budgeting resources.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has formal supervisory responsibilities over other employees.
- Supervise and mentor employees in the designated trade shop that is overseen.
- Supervise the work quality and quantity of technicians which includes hiring, performance evaluations, training and development, disciplinary issues.
- Assist with budget preparation, contract work recommendation, and coordination of maintenance, equipment, inventory control, reports, and memo preparation.
- Supervise and/or assist disassembly replacement, reassembly, and testing the performance of equipment with the aid of standard testing devices.
- Train, mentor, and coach personnel in standard job methods and procedures, proper use of tools, equipment, and safe working practices.
- Supervise the inspection and diagnoses of issues which may occur in relation to equipment being operated within shop.
- Ensure employees adhere to the industry standards as well as State and Local codes as required.
- Ability to capacity plan based on business need to align with the strategy of the organization.
- Develop metrics and set goals to support the overall operations of the organization and strategic initiatives.
- Perform related work as required.
