Metal Shop Welder/Fabricator and Warehouse Operations

Job Duties:

- Must have a positive attitude

- TIG, MIG, and Stick welding

- Setup and operate warehouse equipment including, but not limited to CNC plasma table, welders, bandsaw, grinders, banding, brake, shear, mag drill, drill press, and forklift safely and efficiently as required to perform material handling and fabrication functions

- Must understand how to process material paperwork

- Assist in loading and unloading trucks manually and with forklifts

- Maintain inventory

- Work closely with office staff to coordinate shipments and pick-ups

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse; floors, production area, and shipping and receiving area

- Verify counts to purchase orders, check materials for damage and note any damage on receiving documents

- Ensure that material is properly tagged and stored

- Observe and enforce all safety rules and regulations

- Sort stock materials from job materials. Ensure that all stock materials are stored in the designated areas, and assure that all job materials are staged and ready for customer pickup

- Safety - Must be able to work safe, utilizing proper protection for each fabrication task.

- Accuracy - Should be able to read shop drawings and understand units of measure, dimensions, and tolerances

- Cleanliness - Work areas must be kept clean.

- General warehouse and yard maintenance

- Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

- High School diploma or equivalent

- Welding Certifications

- Metal knowledge

- Trade school preferred

- Clean Motor vehicle record

- Ability to drive Non-CDL flatbed

- Strong math and measurement skills

- Physical requirements include lifting up to 75 lbs. and standing for long periods of time

- Strong attention to detail

- Ability to operate fabrication machinery

- Must have reliable transportation to work each day

- Must work well with others and be a team player

- Must be able to pass drug test and background check
