Millwright Mechanic - Welding and Fabrication

We are currently seeking a Millwright Mechanic for our Landsdale, PA facility.

This candidate will have strong welding and fabrication abilities to join our maintenance team. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical equipment and systems related to heat treating including but not limited to vacuum furnaces, atmosphere furnaces, quench tanks, hoists, and loaders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, align, dismantle, and move machinery and mechanical equipment using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools

- Occasionally perform preventative and corrective maintenance on conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulic and pneumatic systems

- Diagnose mechanical problems and repair or replace defective parts

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and equipment manuals

- Operate machine tools such as lathes, mills, grinders to modify or fabricate parts

- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, following all safety regulations and procedures

- Collaborate with other staff as needed

Requirements:

- The ideal candidate must be proficient in MIG, TIG, and/or STICK Welding and be able to fabricate custom parts and structural components to specifications.

- High school Diploma or GED, technical school or apprenticeship preferred

- Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a millwright in an industrial or manufacturing environment

- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and fabrication blueprints

- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work in confined spaces when needed

Preferred Skills:

- ​​​​​​​AWS welding certification

- Experience with stainless steel welding

- Machining experience

- Familiarly with PLC-controlled equipment and basic electrical troubleshooting
