Summary
Due to continued growth, we are adding a Timekeeper Lead position. This role will oversee and manage the time & attendance management process within Martin Marietta. Considered a back up to the Time & Attendance Manager. Ensure accurate recording and tracking of employee attendance and time off, as well as compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement and enhance time and attendance systems, resolve issues, and provide guidance on time-related matters.

•This position reports to the Time & Attendance Manager.
•Proficiently navigate the UKG platform to carry out various tasks related to time tracking, including but not limited to, clocking in/out, submitting time off requests, and reviewing employee attendance records.
•Support the time and attendance manager by stepping in during their absence or when additional assistance is required. This may involve performing their duties, providing guidance to other employees on timekeeping procedures, and resolving any time-related issues or discrepancies.
•Monitor and analyze attendance and absenteeism data, identifying trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, and providing insights to management.
•Collaborate with managers and HR to address attendance and leave management issues and implement appropriate corrective actions when necessary.
•Assist employees with inquiries and concerns regarding timekeeping procedures, UKG usage, and related matters. Provide training and guidance to ensure employees are well-informed about time tracking processes and policies.
•Ensure adherence to company policies, employment laws, and industry regulations with regards to timekeeping. Stay updated on relevant regulations and implement any necessary changes to maintain compliance.
•Train and educate employees and managers on timekeeping practices, policies, and system usage.
•Generate reports and analyze timekeeping data to identify patterns, trends, and potential issues. Provide recommendations for improving processes and efficiencies based on insights gained through data analysis.
•Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to employees and managers on time and attendance matters, such as time-tracking methods and scheduling conflicts. Address employee inquiries and escalate issues as necessary.
Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
•5+ years of experience in timekeeping, payroll, or a related field
•Strong knowledge of labor laws and timekeeping regulations
•Must have excellent people skills and ability to work in a team environment.
•Develop strong working relationships throughout the organization at all levels.
•Strong written and oral communication skills.
•Demonstrated ability to plan, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities.
•Must be able to effectively manage changes and support impacted areas of the business.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
•UKG/Kronos timekeeping experience required
•Union payroll experience preferred
•Be proficient with Microsoft Office applications
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of internal and external customers.
•Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills
•Ability to multi-task and produce accurate and timely results.
•Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment and manage competing demands
