About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Thermal Insulation Supervisor with experience in the wind energy sector to oversee insulation works on wind turbines and related infrastructure. This role involves supervising teams, ensuring compliance with safety standards in challenging environments, and delivering projects to the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise insulation technicians on offshore and onshore wind projects.

- Plan and allocate tasks to meet strict deadlines and project milestones.

- Oversee installation, maintenance, and inspection of thermal insulation systems on turbines, towers, and auxiliary equipment.

- Ensure compliance with HSE standards, including offshore safety protocols.

- Carry out quality checks and verify insulation meets technical specifications.

- Prepare daily reports, maintain work permits, and ensure accurate documentation.

- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and client representatives.

- Manage materials, logistics, and equipment required for site work.

- Mentor and support technicians to maintain high levels of safety and performance.

Requirements

- Proven supervisory experience in thermal insulation within the wind, offshore, energy, or heavy industrial sectors.

- Knowledge of insulation systems for turbines, nacelles, and auxiliary plant.

- Essential Offshore Certifications:

- GWO Basic Safety Training (BST) – Working at Heights, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling, Sea Survival

- BOSIET / FOET

- Offshore Medical Certificate

- HUET (Helicopter Underwater Escape Training)

- Valid CSCS card (preferred).

- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
