Are you looking to join a dynamic Materials team? In this temporary role, you will perform multiple warehouse tasks, issue materials and perform picking and receiving duties. You will carry out the duties safely, accurately and in a timely fashion to ensure all materials are recorded and properly processed.
- Two or more years’ experience in a warehouse setting
- Minimum 1 year forklift experience
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- A valid Journeyman Parts Technician or Journeyman Materials Technician; attach your Journeyperson / Red Seal ticket with your application to be considered
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Deliver chemicals totes and various materials to designated areas onsite
- Complete inventory cycle counts in all areas of the warehouses
- Ensure the accurate and valid receipt of physically-received materials during delivery
- Manage the process of integrating the materials receipt into the inventory management system
- Pick and stage material accurately for authorization for expenditure and maintenance jobs
- Act as the frontline contact between the warehouse and other business units
- Ensure housekeeping is maintained in operating areas
- You will work out of our Base Plant Mine in Fort McMurray, Alberta
- The shift schedule is a 6 days on/6 days off rotation (3 days on, 3 nights on, 6 days off; 12-hour shifts) or a 4 days on/5 days off/ 5 days on/4 days off/5 days on/5 days off rotation; 12-hour shifts)
- This is a temporary position for a period of up to 12 months
- If you reside outside of Fort McMurray, relocation of your primary residence to within 60 km of Fort McMurray is mandatory
