Kraft Power Corp, a leading distributor of Diesel Engines, Gas Engines, Power Generation, Marine Engines and Power Transmission Products, throughout the Eastern and Midwestern United States, has an immediate opening for a Territory Sales Manager for our OEM group, covering the Southeastern United States. The Person filling this position will become an integral part of the Kraft OEM Sales Team, and the Kraft Power family and will assist in the overall growth of the company, selling diesel power units, electrical generator sets, and OEM specific products.
- Calls on Equipment Manufacturer’s management representatives such as engineering, sales, or other professional and technical personnel at commercial, industrial, and other manufacturing companies in the assigned territory.
- Prepares and provides product information and proposals that meet customers' requirements with a goal of securing orders for products or services offered for use in customer manufactured products.
- Reviews project plans and specifications, and other customer documents to develop and assist in the preparation of cost estimates or product comparisons necessary to secure customer business.
- Provides technical information and product familiarization to customers' employees as well as maintaining continuous contact with OEM engineering, sales, purchasing and senior management personnel, to guarantee continued use and satisfaction with our products.
- Communicates, both internally and externally, highly technical information resulting in a good understanding to less technically trained people.
- Gives technical sales presentations, answers technical questions, and provides technical analysis for potential and existing projects in collaboration with factory engineers and/or representatives.
- Maintains market intelligence on competition, advising Manager of competitive activities.
- Assists in the development and implementation of strategies and programs to increase sales and revenue including development of a dealer network for the products Kraft Power distributes.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and lead generation, while managing existing customer accounts to ensure customer satisfaction while fostering long-term relationships.
- Works closely with inside Application Engineers and internal staff to develop timely and competitive proposals.
- Provides frequent feedback to customers on the status of their projects.
- Attends relevant industry trade shows and conferences to solicit new business.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities using CRM software and company reports.
- High school diploma required. Additional degree in business or engineering a plus.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in B2B sales strategies and territory management, preferably
- Prior experience with Marine and Power Generation applications a plus.
- Must possess above average attention to detail with the ability to identify customer needs
- Ability to handle multiple project tasks to meet established deadlines.
- Position is remote. Must be able to self-motivate to accomplish company and personal goals.
- Territory base is the southeastern United States; with the primary customer base being
located in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and eastern Tennessee, however, additional
customers outside of the base territory, could apply, as directed by management.
- Must possess good verbal, phone, and interpersonal skills, with job-appropriate proficiency in
