Telecom Safety Manager

Voxline is seeking a Telecom Safety Manager to lead and oversee safety operations for our Tower Department. This is a critical leadership position responsible for managing job site safety, regulatory compliance, safety training, and supervising field safety operations. The role requires strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, telecom safety protocols, and experience managing crews in high-risk environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive safety training programs (OSHA 10/30, fall protection, RF safety, etc.).

- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and industry-specific regulations (OSHA 1910/1926, NWSA).

- Supervise and mentor crew leads on safety expectations and job hazard analysis (JHA).

- Perform site safety inspections and internal audits.

- Investigate incidents and near-misses; document and implement corrective actions.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in telecom and construction safety standards.

- Promote a culture of safety through continuous education and active supervision.

- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure safety integration in planning and execution.

Qualifications:

- 2+ years in a safety leadership role in telecom, construction, or tower environments.

- OSHA 30 certification (OSHA 500 or 510 preferred).

- Knowledge of RF safety, fall protection systems, and tower climbing best practices.

- CHST, CSP, or other relevant safety certifications are a plus.

- Strong communication and supervisory skills.

- Comfortable working in hybrid settings with periodic field travel.
