About The Role
As a
Technical Support Representative, you’ll be the go-to expert for a portfolio of major mining clients, supporting assets like buckets, truck trays and wear parts. You’ll work side-by-side with engineering, sales and service teams to ensure everything runs smoothly before, during and after commissioning. Your mission? Drive client satisfaction, retention and technical excellence from the ground up.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Be the frontline technical expert respond to queries and provide trusted guidance.
- Conduct inspections, track asset performance and support preventive maintenance.
- Identify and resolve asset defects and manage warranty claims with efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate across engineering, sales and field service teams during commissioning.
- Discover and pursue sales opportunities for parts and services.
- Provide actionable feedback to improve product design and field performance.
- Build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with clients.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering (or a related field).
- At least 3 years in technical services, field support or technical customer service.
- Knowledge and experience with mining equipment including trays, buckets and wear parts.
- Strong communication skills confident in both technical writing and face-to-face interactions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with MYOB EXO or similar systems.
- Ability to manage multiple client portfolios and solve technical problems efficiently.
- Certifications in asset maintenance, diagnostics or equipment servicing.
- Qualifications or experience in Project Management.
- Understanding of mobile equipment manufacturing and performance testing.
