We are seeking a mid-level Technical Proposal Coordinator/Writer with at least 4 years of experience, preferably at an Architect & Engineering (A/E) firm, with a bids and proposals team. With a focus on Federal Government, State and Commercial contracts, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects simultaneously.
• Lead new business opportunities from the early identification phase of the opportunity through the final submittal, spanning Sources Sought, Requests for Information (RFIs), or Requests for Proposal (RFPs).
• Meet proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, and approval; entering and monitoring tracking data; coordinating requirements with contributors, including external subcontractors & sub-consultants; contributing proposal status information to review meetings; transmitting proposals.
• Assists and supports the team from capture management to interview and award stages as required.
• Coordinate and compiles content and information for qualifications and proposals, including schedule, templates, compliance, content plan, production and submission.
• Serves as lead writer/editor for resumes, past performance, and technical content for proposals.
• Manages the implementation of proposal and presentation revisions based on team reviews and amendments.
• Maintain quality results by using templates; following proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone; maintaining proposal support databases.
• Participates in go/no-go reviews, capture planning and positioning activities and meetings as related to the proposal process.
• Has solid working knowledge of quality procedures and the proposal process.
• Assists in identifying opportunities in various procurement systems (eBUY (GSA), SAM, BidMatch, BidNet, etc.) • Assist in identifying incumbents and teaming partners to team with and pursue opportunities.
• Improve proposal-writing results by evaluating and re-designing processes, approach, coordination, and boilerplate; implementing changes.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Understand and have experience in the proposal process and procurement process as it relates to A/E work for Federal, State and Commercial entities - specific Capture/Proposal processes.
• At least 4 years’ experience in a similar role with a track record of winning business in the Government, State or Commercial sector.
• Experience working with U.S. Federal Government compliance and FAR knowledge.
• Strong written communication skills, excellent command of the English language, and the ability to simplify complex project related matters for a mixed audience.
• Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision in an environment of multiple projects, shifting priorities and high accountability for results.
• Ability to work additional and irregular hours, when needed, to meet deadlines. • Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational aptitude and attention to detail.
• Strong writing skills to include research, editing, and records management. • Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate within a small team environment with team members in multiple locations.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism, Training and Development or relevant education and work experience

Pay Range: $70,000 - 80,000 DOE
