What you do:
•Tracking the proposal development lifecycle from incoming proposal to final delivery. This includes, but is not limited to, arranging internal proposal development meetings, proposal clarification submittals, addendums, amendments, tracking due dates, and developing the proposal in consultation with Business Development and Operation teams.
•Creating and maintaining a library of key employee proposal resumes, project profiles, and any other relevant documents.
•Providing administrative support and services to the Business Development and Operations teams.
•Updating the proposal database with statuses and debriefs, while ensuring a high standard of document control including downloading proposal files, creating project files, and ensuring files are maintained with all relevant documents throughout the proposal process.
•Supporting and preparing for business development initiatives such as customer events, conferences, and tradeshows as required.
•Maintaining a Social Media calendar, organizing and preparing social media postings.
What you bring:
•Diploma or Degree in either Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business Administration or Marketing
•Minimum of 5 years of experience in proposal or technical writing
•Solid understanding of the written English language and grammar
•Proven ability to craft well-organized, persuasive proposals with a clear and logical flow within tight deadlines
•Proactive individual with a passion for initiating and exploring innovative ideas
•The ability to coordinate the production of long documents within tight deadlines
•Experience managing multiple proposals simultaneously, coordinating content providers in a multidisciplinary environment
•Experience leading and participating in proposal strategy meetings, and planning and executing the written response to RFPs/RFQs and other complex proposal requests
•Experience managing internal communication associated with the proposal compilation and ensuring deliverables by stakeholders throughout the process
•Driven to improve processes and stay informed on industry trends and best practices
•Experience in marketing and social media is considered an asset
Experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM software, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator is considered an asset.
