We are looking for a talented individual to join our team! EMC Insights seeks a proactive and self-motivated Clean Energy Technical Project Coordinator to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will be located in New Jersey. You will work in a dynamic environment, contributing to utility-sponsored energy management programs.
As a Clean Energy Technical Project Coordinator, you will work closely with the Trade Allies (HVAC companies, engineering firms, and service companies) who are approved to deliver Commercial and Industrial (C&I) energy efficiency programs to ensure that customers and Trade Allies in the programs receive the support needed to move their projects toward completion. In this role, you will be an instrumental part of the delivery and success of the program, developing strong relationships with Trade Allies and working with customers, reviewing technical aspects of projects, keeping projects on schedule, and maintaining program satisfaction for Trade Allies and customers.

- Must be located in New Jersey, US
- This is a remote (work-from-home) position with ad hoc travel to customer sites
- Coordinate day-to-day aspects of C&I projects (largely HVAC focused), including reviewing project technical qualifications, ensuring quality control of deliverables, handling client and Trade Ally communications, and maintaining project schedules.
- Promptly and accurately address customer concerns to assure problem resolution and promote long-term productive relationships.
- Understand the organization and decision-making process to work with stakeholders in helping to determine project eligibility, schedule, and potential energy savings.
- Manage on-time delivery of technical reporting.
- On an ad hoc basis, commute to off-site locations to facilitate meetings with stakeholders.
- Review technical reports, cost estimates, and energy-saving calculations.
- Perform on-demand tasks and fulfill ancillary duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- BA or BS degree is required, preferably in Engineering, Business Management, Construction Management (STEM), or a related field.
- At least 3 years of project coordination experience (internships included) or similar within the energy efficiency industry.
- Working and field knowledge of HVAC systems.
- Experience in financial analysis of various energy projects is a plus, but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully coordinate multiple projects and work with technical staff.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment with extensive contact with clients and engineers.
- Ability to work autonomously and independently with little oversight.
- Excellent written/oral communication skills with the ability to present energy-efficiency information to a multi-layered audience.
- Proficient in MS office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and the ability to learn and use other company software.
- Maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and the ability to travel in the state of New Jersey up to 10% of the time.
