The Project Manager is responsible for successfully planning, executing, and closing projects by working with clients and cross functional team members to create solutions that support the reliability and success of the customer plants.
- Proactively manage the execution of projects, which includes planning, scheduling, scope, budget and customer satisfaction.
- Develop of the scope, materials, manpower planning, budgeting, and quoting of projects as required to support the success of customer and internal HTS projects.
- Coordinate project kickoff meetings, design reviews, and customer acceptance tests.
- Manage all assigned project related activities as they pertain to scope, schedule and budget as it applies to established HTS Project Execution Processes.
- Administer project contracts ensuring all obligations and reporting requirements are met.
- Control project scope through effective change order management.
- Cadence reporting of project status for schedule, quality and cost compliance
- Work closely with the customer facing sales team in reviewing new opportunity bid specifications. Provide input for anticipated project schedule and cost estimating.
- Review project scope, processes, and procedures to manage and execute projects more efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct project closeout meetings, including customer follow-up and make recommendations for process changes.
- Manage project subcontractors, as necessary.
- Track and report project performance to ensure short-term and long-term objectives are met.
- Define, manage, and update materials inventory required for projects and field services with AP4 Distribution and Repairs divisions and sub-contractors.
- Help identify and train future talent.
- Extended hours may be required when representing AP4 at official functions.
- Availability on holidays and weekends when required.
- Complete all training as required.
- Manage company computers and other technical equipment per company policy.
- Travel as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

What do you need to qualify for this role?
- Bachelor's degree required. PMP highly desired.
- Proficiency in use of project management software tools including; MS Project (or equivalent), and MS Office suite.
- Three plus years of project management experience from initiation to closure.
- Experience with project management methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Analytical thinker and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Alstom Power Plants
