JOB OPPORTUNITY- Tank Foreman - East Coast

An immediate position is available for a field foreman who will travel and complete work on industrial job sites specific to aboveground storage tanks and their related facilities. The Foreman would work primarily with Operations Manager and Project Manager to oversee field crews and perform safe, top-quality work. This is a 100% travel job.

Job Description

We are a leading Aboveground Storage Tank manufacturer and repair contractor seeking a reliable field foreman who is eager to advance his/her career with a well-established company. Our ideal candidate is an experienced, organized, and safety-minded individual with welding knowledge and skills who can interact professionally with our team of managers, foremen, and crew members. The Foreman is the direct contact between our field personnel, safety department, QA/QC department and the customer. The Tank Foreman oversees and coordinates daily operations for tank repair projects. Responsibilities include managing a team of workers, planning and executing the tank work, and ensuring that safety protocols and timelines are followed. The Foreman will also track materials, equipment usage, and maintenance requirements to ensure the smooth operation of the site. This is a full-time position servicing our customers on the east coast.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Supervising- Experience running a crew is required

·       Ensuring the safety of crew members

·       Following OSHA Guidelines

·       Productivity of crew members- Lead the crew

·       Ensuring top quality work, including adherence to procedures, policies, and codes, and specifications.

Specific qualifications for this position include:

·       

Understanding and experience with Aboveground Storage Tanks

·       

Strong safety skills and knowledge of OSHA requirements

·       Knowledge of API 650, API 653, and AWS welding specifications

·       Proficiency with welding and operating heavy equipment

·       Ability to acknowledge potential problems, work interferences, and schedule difficulties and notify project management

·       Desire to problem solve

·       

Valid Driver’s License/CDL license helpful
