Tank Cleaning Operator

- Industrial tank cleaning execution: perform tasks associated with the preparation, set up and completion of Tank Cleaning projects.

- Complete pre-use inspections of equipment to ensure it is operating safely.

- Operation of equipment such as wash units and pumps, robotic tank cleaning equipment and conducting pre-commissioning services.

- Ensure that all required Operating and Safe Work Procedures are followed.

- Following and upholding the safety and quality expectations held by RJ Maclean in Tank Cleaning. Promote organization’s Core Values.

- Ensure tasks as communicated by Field Supervisor/Project Manager are executed inside tanks.

What Skills and Training Do You Need?

- H2S Alive

- Confined Space (CSE)

- CSO/CSTS

- Industrial tank cleaning experience, turnaround, and pre-commissioning services experience.

- Mask Fit and experience or capability working in confined space with breathing apparatus.

- Pump and Hydraulics experience preferred.

- Driver License and clean driving record is an asset.

- Experience in a physically demanding role; Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly on shift and throughout the shift.

- Excellent safety record with experience in oil and gas on project worksites.

- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

- Ability to execute tasks with limited Supervision.

- References, Alcohol and Drug Testing. Fit test

- Rotation schedule will vary in accordance with the particular project, however regular in/out schedule will be determined and communicated to employees in advance.
