Position Overview

We are seeking a System Monitoring & RMA Specialist to join our Warwick, RI team. This role focuses on remotely monitoring solar system performance through manufacturer portals and managing Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) requests. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with manufacturers and customers to coordinate part replacements and labor reimbursements.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor solar system performance using manufacturer monitoring portals to ensure systems are online and operating correctly.

- Identify and escalate underperforming or offline systems for further troubleshooting.

- Initiate, submit, and track RMAs with equipment manufacturers for part replacements and labor reimbursement.

- Coordinate the approval process for RMAs, ensuring timely updates and resolution.

- Maintain accurate records of monitoring activities, RMA submissions, approvals, and replacements.

- Collaborate with service teams, installers, and manufacturer support to resolve technical issues efficiently.

- Support internal teams with reporting on system performance and warranty claims as needed.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in solar, renewable energy, or a related technical field preferred.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work within web-based portals and track multiple cases simultaneously.

- Familiarity with solar equipment warranties and RMA processes is a plus.

- High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s degree or technical certification preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
