About your role:
This is a hands-on, full-time position with day-to-day duties that include managing the procurement process, procurement status reporting, vendors, delivery of project documentation and materials. This position engages in communication with external parties to obtain detailed status information regarding procurements and report all that information to the internal project team. This position analyzes commercial details of vendor proposals and advises on the best fit for the project. The Procurement Supervisor prepares procurement deliverables in line with established templates to facilitate project progression and reporting.
Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities
•Tracks and maintains progress of multiple procurement projects and supports team members as needed to achieve successful project execution.
•Communicates with internal stakeholders to receive and distribute information internally and externally and to direct team members.
•Identifies issues at the project level, communicates with internal and external stakeholders to generate solutions for issues, and develops solutions for systemic problems.
•Ability to review and evaluate the information for substantive details within context of a project that has cost and time constraints.
•Communicates with vendors to achieve project execution and manages vendor relationships to develop positive and fair vendor interactions.
•Generates procurement deliverables in line with established formats and checks deliverables produced by other team members for accuracy and aesthetics.
•Understands project timing needs and prioritizes tasks, including directing team members on task prioritization.
•Assist with other duties as assigned.
Work Hours:

This position works 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Hours vary and are dependent on business needs.
40 Hour Work Week
Monday through Friday, Hours may vary with the workload.
Evenings/Weekends/OT
As needed to satisfy the requirements of the position.

Education
•Bachelor's degree, preferably business or engineering, required.
•5+ years of administrative experience required.
•3+ years of supervisory experience.

•Demonstrated ability of leadership skills with experience leading large or technical teams through complex deliverables.

•Ability to self-direct and take responsibility for own tasks, deliverables, and timelines, as well as be aware of workflow and project tradeoffs to make decisions based on needs now and in the future.
Supervisory Expectations:
•The position supervises or manages the work of at least two full-time employees or the equivalent. The position includes decisions or recommendations regarding personnel actions such as hiring, disciplinary action, overtime, changes in pay and terminations.

•Results are defined; the incumbent sets own goals and determines how to accomplish results with few or no guidelines to follow, although precedents may exist, supervisor/manager/leader provides broad guidance and overall direction.
