We are looking for a Logistics Supervisor for our DeLand, FL Plant!


Essential Duties:



Safety, Compliance, and Workplace Standards:

Maintain a safe and clean workplace by complying with all relevant regulations, setting housekeeping standards, and staying informed of government rules.
Train employees effectively on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Risk Assessments, and Health & Safety (H&S) practices to ensure compliance and workplace safety.



Employee Leadership and Development:

Lead and support employees to maintain a productive, safe work environment, ensuring discipline, attendance, and performance align with company policies.
Engage in professional development by actively participating in meetings, seminars, and training sessions as required.



Operational Efficiency and Continuous Improvement:

Optimize processes and productivity by using continuous improvement methods, analyzing work orders, and managing worker hours effectively.
Track and report performance metrics by measuring operational data and providing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as needed.



Logistics, Shipping, and Budget Management:

Oversee traffic logistics, including delivery management, invoicing, product distribution, and inventory control, ensuring OTIF (on time, in full) deliveries.
Coordinate shipments to meet customer needs, manage third-party services, and analyze distribution inefficiencies for improvement.
Handle logistics budgets, monitor freight variances, process service payments, and prepare Customs documentation for imports and exports.



Reporting and Documentation:

Submit reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis as required.
Other duties as assigned.



Additional Compliance Responsibilities:

Follow the Group Code of Conduct and Group Compliance.

Education/Experience:

High School graduate or equivalent experience.
At least 5 years’ experience working in logistics and/or supply chain management.



Computer Skills:

Must be highly proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Outlook. SAP knowledge preferred.



Other Skills and Requirements:

Strong written, oral, and telephone communication skills, coupled with excellent spelling and grammar.
Highly proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven, with the ability to multitask effectively.
Collaborative team player who is self-motivated, independent, and customer-focused, demonstrating analytical and problem-solving abilities.
