Supply Chain Specialist
The Supply Chain Specialist will report to the Vice President of Business Development. This position will support the end-to-end supply chain process, from procurement and logistics to inventory management and distribution. This position will support the company’s overall logistics strategy, handling all varieties of tasks, from the beginning of a supply chain to the end. The specialist will oversee vendor engagement and process management.
Responsibilities:
•Support identifying reliable suppliers.
•Support negotiating contracts, and maintaining relationships to secure optimal terms and pricing.
•Support building commercial supply chain delivery organization on the TerraPower corporate supply chain team.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and upcoming promotions or events. Identify trends, forecasting future supply needs, and making data-driven decisions
•Support the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies to address potential disruptions in the supply chain.
•Develop and support the maintenance of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
•Analyzing supply chain costs, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing cost-saving measures..
•Identify cost-saving opportunities within the supply chain, such as negotiating better pricing with suppliers or optimizing transportation routes.
•Support supply chain improvement projects, including tracking of new systems or processes.
Key Qualifications and Skills
•Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
•Minimum of 5 years experience as a Supply Chain Specialist or in a similar role, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of supply chain processes.
•Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, logistics, and demand forecasting.
•Knowledge and experience of supply chain logistics and compliance, preferably within nuclear industry.
•Proficient in using supply chain management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, inventory management software, forecasting tools).
•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and make informed decisions.
•Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
•Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
•Knowledge of international trade regulations, shipping procedures, and customs clearance is a plus.
•Proactive, detail-oriented, problem solving orientation with ability to execute independent and team work.
•The successful candidate will possess a high degree of trust and integrity, communicate openly and display respect and a desire to foster teamwork.

Salary Range Level 10: $113,605 - $170,408
Salary Range Level 11: $125,257 - $208,762
•Typically, our employee salaries are within .90 – 1.0 of the mid-point of the posted salary bands. Any salary offered within the posted salary band is based on market data and commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience. This range is specific to Washington State.
