Supply Chain Coordinator
Summary of Position
The successful Supply Chain Coordinator will support the Supply Chain Manager in business matters related to vendor management, Supply Chain Management program development and execution, team objectives monitoring, supplier relationship meetings, and profile management. Support the overall facility in administrative training and purchasing support functions. In addition, this position shares work responsibilities with the Accounting Department, providing daily support in Finance and Accounting duties.
Qualifications
•Four (4) years of Purchasing, Accounting, or Finance experience is required.
•Prior experience supporting supply chain functions in an industrial facility is preferred.
•Understanding of supply chain processes, including vendor management, purchase orders, and new vendor onboarding.
•Familiarity with accounts receivable, invoicing, and financial controls related to purchasing and vendor payments.
•Skilled in managing vendor relationships, including communication, contract negotiation, and issue resolution.
•Ability to oversee and manage the full life cycle of purchase orders, including tracking, problem-solving, and timely execution.
•Strong working performance within the Microsoft suite.
•Demonstrated proficient experience in utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, with a preference for NetSuite's purchasing and finance modules.
•Ability to successfully compile and analyze data from disparate sources to improve work processes as necessary, contributing to organizational goals.
•Ability to communicate clearly and concisely orally and in writing across all levels of employees and contractors.
•Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
•Demonstrates creative thinking and the ability to devise effective solutions to challenges.
•Understand the complexities and importance of operational needs of OPT and must possess a sense of urgency to react to those needs.
•Ability to respond to urgent procurement requests that might arise outside of normal working hours.
•Exceptional focus on accuracy and thoroughness.
•Ability to obtain, or currently possess, a valid Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC).
Physical Requirements
•Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds, climb stairs, push and pull, reach overhead, stoop and squat.
•Position is generally in an office setting.
