Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain Manager to oversee and enhance our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing logistics, inventory control, procurement, and demand planning to ensure efficient production and distribution processes. This role requires a strategic thinker with expertise in supply chain management, analytics, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Oversees all functions related to purchasing, receiving, inventory, and shipping.
- Supplier and Vendor Management, including negotiating contracts, prices, and terms to secure the best possible value and quality for materials and services.
- Monitor supplier and freight performance.
- Analyzes data and metrics to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Continuously analyze current procedures to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Develop and implement policies and changes to increase efficiency, productivity, and profitability throughout the supply chain.
- Maintain detailed inventories of materials and products to optimize production and meet customer needs.
- Oversee all aspects of logistics, including the movement, storage, and distribution of goods.
- Lead and manage teams and collaborate with various departments, including sales, operations, finance, and manufacturing,
- Special projects and/or other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 plus years related experience and/or training
- QuickBooks experience
- Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
- Experience in manufacturing environment
- Management, supervisory and ‘people’ skills
- Understanding of supply chain procedures
- Organizational skills.
