Job Summary
The Supply Chain Governance Manager role will collaborate with the Manager, Supply Chain Risk & SRM team to ensure data alignment produces insights that communicate performance on the supply chain standards and processes. This role is also responsible for collaborating across business functions including the enterprise internal audit team. Performance metrics management across integrated supply chain is an essential responsibility. This role will execute the supply chain governance strategy, implement supply chain performance audit reporting with a defined cadence and active collaboration with the Risk & SRM team. A successful candidate will champion the supply chain governance processes across integrated supply chain while serving as the stakeholder partner to the NiSource internal audit team and business functions.
Essential Functions
- Implement data governance and quality standards across all Supply Chain data domains (e.g., supplier, item, contract, spend).
- manages the audit of supply chain processes to the standards, supplier accountability through supplier relationship management and authors performance reporting that guides the supply chain organization to deliver on the goals
- Serve as the primary steward of Supply Chain processes and oversee the maintenance/update of intranet supply chain website containing process maps, process/standards and version management. This includes supply chain dictionary
- Partner with the enterprise data governance team to align Supply Chain data with corporate policies and system architecture.
- Develop and manage supply chain workflows and ownership models in support of strategic sourcing, procurement, performance reporting and internal audit.
- Develop internal supply chain audit process accompanied with performance KPIs, scorecard and Corrective Action Report (CAR) management
- Support internal audits and regulatory compliance activities with timely and accurate data documentation.
- Work cross-functionally with IT, Finance, Operations, and other enterprise business stakeholders to ensure consistent use and interpretation of supply chain processes
- Act as a resource for Supply Chain teams seeking clarity on processes, policies, and standards.
- Build trusted relationships with internal and external partners to support a unified supply chain governance strategy.
- Drives continuous improvement in governance processes and tools through automation and best practices.
- Provides thought leadership in the design and rollout of Supply Chain governance frameworks.
- Identifies opportunities to leverage data for operational efficiencies and process innovation.
- Leads diverse team of qualified individuals with authority to hire, terminate, promote, demote, coach, develop and performance manage
- Required Qualifications For Position
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- High School
- supply chain, sourcing strategies, project management, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated knowledge of governance frameworks and quality assurance tools.
- Familiarity with supply chain systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba, Coupa) and enterprise reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Effective project management and process documentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work across technical and business teams.
- PREFERRED:
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
- Experience in utilities or other asset-intensive, regulated industries.
- Understanding of data privacy, regulatory compliance, and audit requirements

Salary Range*:
$110,200.00 - $165,300.00
- The salary offered to a candidate is based on several factors including but not limited to the candidate’s skills, job-related knowledge, and relevant experience, as well as internal pay equity.
