Supply Chain Management Intern (Rotation)

Position Summary

This is a paid Summer Internship Program (early June to early August). As an intern with our Supply Chain Management group, you’ll will have the following responsibilities:

Interns are placed under the leadership of a Supply Chain Manager and are invited to learn about Oceaneering`s products, processes, operations and culture through working alongside professionals on a variety of projects, and are exposed to Oceaneering`s cutting-edge product lines and their real-world application.

This internship is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of supply chain operations and develop practical skills across multiple areas.

Duties And Responsibilities

Participate in a job rotation across five core areas:

- Warehouse Operations – Support material receiving, inspection, and ERP transactions.

- Inventory Control – Assist with cycle counts, stock reconciliation, discrepancy analysis, and accuracy reporting.

- Material Planning – Contribute to MRP analysis, follow-up on critical materials, and monitor lead times and inventory levels.

- Production Planning – Support scheduling of production orders and coordination with manufacturing.

- Procurement – Assist with supplier quotations, negotiations for non-critical items, and delivery follow-up.

Your job responsibilities and projects will be based upon your experience and educational background to provide real life application of your classroom knowledge. You’ll work closely with a mentor to ensure your developmental goals are met and that you meet your performance expectations.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

- 3rd or 4th year undergraduate student at an accredited University, pursuing a degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.

- Minimum 3.0 GPA.

- Experience with Microsoft Office, CAD software and other calculation software.

- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.

- No relocation or housing assistance is being offered.

DESIRED:

- Exposure to physical tools as used for home improvement, wood working, automotive related and similar; programming whether as part of coursework or as a hobby.

Additional Information

This position is Hybrid - Remote and will require commuting to a designated office. Hybrid work schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business need.
