As a member of the support services department, the supervisor, training plays a key role in fostering a positive training culture and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will recommend accepted industry or best practices, support the implementation and maintenance of site training programs, and contribute to a safe, secure, and productive workplace by aligning with company policies, goals, and objectives.
- Leading the training team in analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, evaluating, and maintaining position-specific training programs.
- Ensuring all training activities comply with site procedures and regulatory standards.
- Responding to employee and contractor training requests and support change initiatives.
- Arranging of external training.
- Maintaining and updating training development and completion reports to meet compliance and performance targets.
- Overseeing training schedules to ensure a qualified and competent workforce.
- Actively participating in the development and delivery of both classroom and practical training sessions.
- Performing additional duties as assigned, based on your knowledge, experience, and skills.
- Post-secondary education in Adult Education or a related field.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively and proactively in a team environment.
- Ability to work in accordance with established procedures and work practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to deliver training to both small and large groups in classroom and practical settings.
- Proficiency in Articulate Storyline e-learning development tools.
