Job Description
Peak’s Supervisor is Responsible for directing the operations of the work performed by the crews. Also responsible for coordinating the affairs of the operating company, completing daily reports, ordering necessary supplies, ensuring compliance with safety requirements as the Site Safety Manager and respond to all situations of emergency, and coordinate the crews to minimize the effect of any adverse situations.
The essential job functions include, but are not limited to
•Make recommendations to Operations Manager regarding the work status of employees including, hiring, firing, discipline, promotion, etc.
•Actively promote a safe working environment and adhere to the HSE Management Plan.
•Adhere to all company policies, procedures and Government regulations pertaining to the worksite.
•Supervise and monitor the day to day activities of the field crew to ensure work is performed safely and that tasks are completed in accordance with client expectations.
•Keep the Superintendent updated on operations; inspect for hazards, inspect lifesaving and safety equipment.
•Ensuring that all employees, contractors and visitors wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
•Coordinates safety meetings and pre-job safety meetings.
•Ensure hazards, near misses, other HSE incidents (such as equipment damage and substance spills) to be reported at all times.
•Implement hazard management controls as required.
•Ensures upkeep of equipment, suggests improvements, and maintains the paperwork.
•Train & assess crew members in accordance with established competency standards and conduct performance management assessments.
•Provide action plan for identified performance/training gaps.
•Provide and monitor action plans for identified performance/training gaps.
•Expected to identify job repairs and maintenance that needs to be conducted.
•Organizes daily activities of crew and coordinate the staff.
•Plan various activities such as repairs, daily maintenance of any equipment.
•Ensure that activities are coordinated with a minimal loss of time or effort.
•Orders supplies, parts, and materials anticipating and requisitioning each item so that required items are on hand when needed.
•Maintain all company paperwork in a neat, timely and orderly fashion.
•Correct unacceptable performance or conduct of crew members using disciplinary procedures.
•Be aware of the impact that the operation may cause in the communities and work actively to minimize such impact. Provide coaching and leadership for the field employees in the positive and constructive interaction with the local communities.
•Be involved in, the identifying of safe and suitable duties for injured workers. To be involved in, the development, progress and return to work of injured workers, while complying with all aspects of privacy and confidentiality.
•Injured workers will be managed in a fair and equitable manner having regard to their
•cultural and linguistic ability and level of literacy.
•Ensure a fitness to work such that all employees and yourself can safely respond to all situations of emergency, and be accommodated by all safety evacuation, transport and other equipment to and from rigs.

Compensation Information
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
Physical Demands and Exposures
•Work is regularly performed in outside weather conditions, including rain and extreme cold and heat, near moving mechanical parts; exposure to high wind, ice, snow, wet and/or humid conditions, vibration, and dust is expected.
•Exposure to noise levels requiring the use of hearing protection.
•Prolonged sitting, standing, walking.
•Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
•Ability to individually lift: Maximum 50 lbs.
