Job Summary/Purpose

This role has programmatic ownership responsibilities for administration and oversight of the JU/ 3rd Party pole attachment process and the annual billing/ collection of attachment revenues (~$25M). This position is responsible for supervising the daily activity of Pole Attachment Reps and associated contract resources. Ability to train and execute pole attachment processes as needed.



Job Duties/Responsibilities

- Ensure that all pole attachment procedures and data are accurately maintained according to federal and state regulation. Develop a system process for pole attachment inventories.

- Oversee billing and collection of all revenue and costs associated with pole attachment processes and procedures.

- Maintain a high level of safety with Entergy employees as well as the contractors that report to the Pole Attachment group.

- Handle all personnel issues, PPR's and employee feedback in a timely and professional manner.

- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers to resolve pole attachment related issues.

- Oversee the collection and reporting of pole attachment data and develop a process for integration into utility systems



Minimum Requirements


Minimum education required of the position

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, technical degree (or equivalent work experience).



Minimum experience required of the position


5+ years' experience in a related field


Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position

- Must exemplify strong safety and leadership practices

- Demonstrated exceptional leadership ability.

- Excellent interpersonal skills; team player.

- Thorough understanding of procedures, programs, and standards.

- Strong organizational skills with ability to lead and manage multi-projects simultaneously.

- Knowledge of Entergy electric system design and operations.

- Knowledge in establishing processes and procedures that meet regulatory and standards requirements.

- Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse work group

EEI Testing:

One way that Entergy has found to identify and assess the abilities and skills needed for certain jobs is through pre-employment testing. If this position does require an EEI test, the type of test will be located under the qualifications section of the job posting.
