ABOUT Hermosa

Hermosa, located approximately 75 miles south-east of Tucson, Arizona, is the only advanced mining project in the United States as of 2023 that could produce two federally designated critical minerals—manganese and zinc—as well as silver and lead. The project has the potential to help power the nation’s clean energy future, strengthen the domestic supply chain of critical minerals, grow the local economy, and improve lives in Santa Cruz County and the surrounding community for generations to come.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is a (Permanent) position from Hermosa Site (Patagonia, Az)

As the (ISupervisor, Maintenance), you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating various activities. This includes the execution of detailed job plans, facilitates compliance with OEM specifications, identifying best practices and comply with safety and environmental policies. The Supervisor executes daily, weekly, and monthly schedules. While using a variety of software’s to complete daily activities such as SAP and MS Office products. The supervisor attends planning meetings in their area of responsibility

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

•

Ensure that all planned maintenance activities for the fixed plant and mobile fleet are properly executed in a safe and efficient manner.

•

Creating and integrating Weekly and Monthly plans into daily Shift Plans.

•

Communicating and executing daily Shift Plans.

•

Provide visible leadership among crew and peers.

•

Perform employee performance, track and monitor safety performance, evaluations, and hours of direct reports.

•

Collecting and communicating accurate information in a timely manner; and, setting area expectations, and holding crews accountable for working safely, performing quality work, communicating effectively, and taking care of equipment.

•

This position requires routine communication, collaboration, and interaction with management, peer, and direct reports.

•

Hold people accountable, document performance, resolve non-conformance issues, and address employee issues with appropriate resources.

ABOUT YOU You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

•

High School diploma or GED and five (5) years of experience in the maintenance environment required.

•

Must pass background and Drug Screening

•

Demonstrate ability to use Microsoft Office, SAP systems preferred.

•

Preferred; Two (2) years of experience working in maintenance supervisory or lead role preferred.

•

Knowledge of supervisory methods and techniques

•

Skilled in resolving day-to-day questions/problems regarding equipment, materials, methods, and procedures needed to complete projects.

•

Working knowledge of applicable MSHA rules and regulations
