Job Summary
We are seeking entry level Demolition Workers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely dismantling structures and preparing sites for new construction. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of construction practices. The Demolition Worker will work closely with other tradespeople and must adhere to safety protocols at all times.
Responsibilities
•Safely operate hand tools and heavy machinery to dismantle structures.
•Conduct thorough inspections of demolition sites to assess safety and compliance with regulations.
•Remove debris and hazardous materials in accordance with environmental guidelines.
•Assist in the restoration of sites post-demolition, ensuring they are ready for new construction.
•Perform concrete finishing tasks as required during the demolition process.
•Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
•Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times.
•Support glass installation efforts when necessary, ensuring proper handling and placement.
Qualifications
•Previous experience in demolition or related construction fields is preferred.
•Familiarity with construction management principles and practices is a plus.
•Ability to use hand tools effectively and safely, including knowledge of plumb techniques.
•Experience in construction estimating is beneficial for project planning.
•Knowledge of plastering techniques is an asset for restoration projects.
•Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials as needed.
•Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
•Commitment to following safety protocols and regulations on-site.
