Job Description:
The Demo Specialist is responsible for being the right hand of the Demo Lead and is capable enough to work on any task with relative autonomy, discerning the best way to properly perform a demolition job by using the proper tools in a safe and efficient way. The Demo Specialist is also reliable enough to take responsibility for a job site when the Demo Lead needs to step away. This position is perfect for someone who has experience in the construction field and is interested in increasing their skills in Specialty Demolition. Demo Specialists that excel in their position may be a candidate for a promotion to Demo Lead.
Responsibilities:
•Set-up jobsite with proper floor protection and dust containment
•Prepare tools needed to complete the job
•Execute the work necessary to fulfill the complete job scope
•Proactively remove all debris from the work area in partnership with Site Support
•Fully clean up the jobsite at the completion of the job/workday
•Start each day on time and prepared
•Communicate any tardiness or absences before the start of your shift
•Wear appropriate PPE at all times
•Care for and protect the customer’s home and belongings
•Ensure their work is done and done safely
•Return all hand and Power tools to the tool carts. Ensure batteries are charged throughout the
•Return all tool carts and jobsite materials to the trailer or staging area
•Clean up all dust and debris thoroughly throughout the workday with a final clean at the
•completion of the day/job.
•Be Coachable and Teachable
Requirements:
•Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction or selective demolition industry.
•Several 5 years, carpenter experience.
•Strong knowledge, demonstrated skills and understanding of construction or selective demolition practices, including final construction cleaning.
•Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
•Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices within the construction or selective demolition field.
•Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements.
•Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to various job sites.
