Substation Field Services Technician

The Substation Field Services Technician travels throughout the state of Florida and is expected to perform service, testing and maintenance on various types of power distribution equipment including transformers, switches, switch operators, circuit breakers, etc.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Inspect, maintain, test, troubleshoot, perform start-up of low, medium and high voltage (to 500kV) electrical components.

Perform inspection, maintenance, processing, testing and repair of transformers and all related equipment – 45 KVA to 130 MVA, dry type and oil filled.

Knowledge of various industry safety standards.

Must have at least 1year of relevant experience.

Must be able to work safely and adhere to all electrical safety procedures.

Training is provided.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
