Student Intern - Business Intelligence & Analytics

The Student Intern – Business Intelligence & Analytics will learn various aspects of data warehousing design and analytics reporting. The intern will review historical data, find trends and perform analysis based on customer requirements.

Essential Functions

- Participate in requirements gathering and analysis

- Perform analysis and design

- Support development an implementation

- Conduct unit testing and provides testing support

Perform other relevant duties, as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

- Basic understanding of data analytics concepts, databases, and business intelligence principles; familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI); foundational knowledge of statistics and data interpretation.

- Ability to collect, clean, and analyze data; create clear reports and dashboards; use spreadsheets and basic SQL or Python; strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and written/verbal communication skills.

- Capacity to learn new tools quickly, work with large datasets, pay close attention to detail, manage time effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.

Minimum Education, Experience Requirements

- Completion of 2+ years of study towards a degree in Computer Science, Decision Science, Information Systems or related discipline

- Successful completion of a database design, programming AND software development lifecycle course
