Peter Lucas is seeking an experienced Construction Consultant to provide on-site support during the cooling tower and air intake filter house construction activities. This role will ensure compliance with contractual, safety, and quality requirements while coordinating site logistics and contractor activities.
- Review contractor submissions (e.g., personnel certifications, schedules, ITPs).
- Attend site visits, as required.
- Complete all required site-specific training to obtain permits.
- Be available to receive and oversee delivery of materials.
- Oversee site preparation, including coordination of trailers and equipment delivery.
- Coordinate construction staff and activities.
- Maintain on-site presence during active construction.
- Provide QA/QC oversight, including review of ITPs and QC forms.
- Monitor schedules and support corrective action planning.
- Ensure compliance with contract obligations and site safety requirements.
- Hold permits as required for site activities (e.g., LOTO permits).
- Oversee site access for contractor staff.
- Coordinate site services such as snow removal, garbage collection, etc.
- Manage site logistics, including laydown areas.
- Prepare and deliver daily and weekly progress reports to the project team and stakeholders.
- Must be able to align with site contractor working hours and rotations.
- Workdays may be up to 10 hours in duration.
- Rotations are expected to follow a 10 days on / 4 days off schedule.

- Experience overseeing industrial construction projects, preferably in power generation or heavy industry.
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC practices and construction safety requirements.
- Ability to review contractor documentation and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Strong organizational skills for coordinating site logistics and contractor activities.
- Excellent communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement.
