Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of various structural projects. This role requires a strong foundation in civil engineering principles, project management skills, and proficiency in industry-standard software. The Structural Engineer will collaborate to ensure that projects are completed on time and meet all safety and regulatory standards. Role is an individual contributor and shall be comfortable as sole engineer.
- Design and analyze structural systems for various projects using software.
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and calculations for construction documents.
- Conduct structural assessments and evaluations to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Engage in drafting technical reports and documentation for project stakeholders.
- Participate in site visits to monitor construction progress and address any issues that arise during the building process.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors, and team members throughout the project lifecycle.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required
- Proven experience in structural engineering design and analysis within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Bluebeam is essential.
- Familiarity with project management principles and tools for effective scheduling and resource allocation.
- Strong mathematical skills with experience for calculations.
- Knowledge of system design principles related to civil engineering projects is a plus.
- Excellent technical writing skills for creating clear documentation and reports.
