Your mission:

As a Structural Engineer

, you will be

responsible for the design of steel and concrete structures and foundations in accordance with project requirements under the supervision of the Lead Structural Engineer. You will a

pply specialized and /or advanced engineering principles at a detailed level and to convey the design requirements to the drafting team. This position is reporting to the Lead CSA Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage the design of various infrastructure within the minerals processing industry, including consideration of construction and constructability.

- Conduct structural analysis using advanced computer modelling and simulation tools to ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency of structures.

- Review and approve engineering deliverables, including 3D models, drawings, specifications and calculations to ensure compliance with engineering principles, codes, and regulations.

- Collaborate with other engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to coordinate project activities and resolve design issues.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and other team members.

- Ensure that projects are completed within the established timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

- Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in structural engineering.

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental policies, and ethical standards.

- Coordinate and collaborate with international offices and teams (internal or otherwise)

What We’re Looking For:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited institution

- Licenses Professional Engineer (PE) with the Texas Board of Professional Engineers

- 6+ years in a relevant field of experience in mining, mineral processing or hydrocarbons.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong attention to detail.

- Ability to rapidly understand and assimilate project and client specific requirements.

- Knowledge and practical application of design theories, principles and practices for both concrete foundations and steelwork

- Experience in dynamic analysis will be well regarded

- Practical experience and understanding of design software and willing to learn new packages (Staad Pro preferable)

Position details

:

- 40 hours per week
