Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated Structural Engineer for a full-time hybrid role based in Halifax, NS or St. John’s NL with flexible work-from-home options. The successful candidate will be responsible to LEAD structural analyses in both marine and land applications, designing structures within energy systems, and overseeing related engineering calculations. Key duties also include using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools to prepare detailed project drawings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project goals are met on time and to high standards.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in Structural Analysis and Structural Engineering

- Strong skills in Civil Engineering principles and practices

- Expertise in performing detailed engineering Calculations

- Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and software

- Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking

- Strong communication and collaboration skills for multidisciplinary teams

- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field

- Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility to obtain it is preferred

- Experience in the wind, petroleum energy sector and knowledge of marine and renewable energy systems is a strong asset
