Strategy & Operations Consultant
to join our growing team and support client-facing project delivery across the mining industry.
As a Strategy & Operations Consultant, you will:
•Develop clear, compelling client-facing materials including reports, slide decks, and presentations.
•Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution.
•Contribute to internal knowledge-building and best-practice documentation.
•Bring practical change management strategies to mining operations undergoing transformation.
•Drive the development and refinement of Outliers’ industry-leading service offerings, ensuring alignment with emerging client needs and operational excellence benchmarks.
•Support all business divisions in the design and execution of their strategic plans, providing actionable insights and implementation support across functions.
•Engage directly with Director-level stakeholders across both Outliers and client organizations to align strategic priorities and build strong cross-functional partnerships.
•Collaborate with key leaders and internal champions foster buy-in, accelerate adoption, and amplify the impact of strategic initiatives across sites.
Key Responsibilities:
•Deliver high-quality materials that communicate project progress, findings, and recommendations.
•Translate technical and operational insights into accessible communications for a range of stakeholders.
•Partner with clients to assess readiness, identify change impacts, and design change strategies.
•Contribute to project planning, delivery, and evaluation.
•Facilitate client meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagement activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
•Minimum 3 years of experience in management consulting, ideally in operational improvement or transformation roles.
•Proven experience working within or consulting to the mining industry is considered an asset.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English; fluency in French and/or Spanish considered an asset.
•Proficiency in creating professional, client-facing materials (reports, slide decks, presentations).
•Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating across time zones and teams.
Location Requirement:
Candidates must be located in Canada.
