Job Purpose
The ideal candidate will report to a unit or section leader and will be responsible for evaluating and designing pressure relief and flare systems for clients in the oil and gas, petrochemical, and chemical industries. As part of a dynamic and growing organization, the candidate must demonstrate the ability to take initiative, manage projects independently, and deliver high-quality technical solutions. This includes defining project scopes, developing resource and budget plans, scheduling and coordinating personnel, and ensuring timely delivery of deliverables. The role also involves providing technical leadership through mentoring junior staff, overseeing quality assurance and control (QA/QC) of project outputs, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs hazard analysis, including HAZOP, fault tree analysis, and layer of protection analysis for clients. Performs safety and integrity analysis.
Performs fixed facility and transportation quantitative risk assessments.
Software for documenting process hazard analyses and audits, and conducting consequence and risk analyses.
