Storm Assessment Driver/Wire Down Guard

The role of Driver/Wire Guard involves working under the supervision of a Damage Assessor to assess damaged utility infrastructure, conduct post-storm patrol tasks, and secure locations where damaged electrical wires and equipment may pose risks to public safety. Drivers/Wire Guards will receive comprehensive training in relevant safety protocols established by both the host utility and Qualus.

QUALIFICATIONS

The following criteria must be met:

- 25 years of age or older

- You must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean record which will be verified.

- You must be able to pass a drug screen test.

- Capability to mobilize quickly following a storm event.

- Ability to communicate and collaborate with remote teams.

- Physical capacity to work extended hours under adverse conditions.

- Proficiency with mobile technology

- Smartphone with an active data plan

- Capability to cover travel and meal expenses (until reimbursed)

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $25.00 per hour
