Stone Shop Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Stone Shop Fabrication Lead to oversee daily operations in our production facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and maintaining high-quality standards in production. This role requires strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of stone countertop manufacturing processes.

Duties

- Lead and coordinate the activities of production staff to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards.

- Operate cutting equipment as needed.

- Oversee the countertop finishing process, ensuring quality control throughout production.

- Collaborate with team members to fabricate, and polish components as required.

- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to maintain operational efficiency.

- Provide training and support to new employees on equipment operation and safety practices.

- Maintain production output schedule and report any discrepancies or issues to management.

- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in a lead role within a stone countertop fabrication environment.

- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.

- Familiarity with machining processes and warehouse operations is a plus.

- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

- Stone Countertop Fabrication: 9 years (Preferred)
