Steel Erector / Fabricator

Job Overview:

We are seeking dedicated Steel erectors who specialize in assembling and erecting steel framework of commercial building and other structures. This involves rigging equipment, hand tools, and potential welding to secure steel components according to engineering plans.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites

- Installing and connecting steel beams. columns and other components

- Operate hand and power tools under supervision

- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment

- Support other skilled tradespeople as needed

- Complete tasks in a timely manner to meet project deadlines

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks

- Knowledge of basic hand and power tools

- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn on the job

- Ability to work well in a team environment

- High school diploma or equivalent is a plus
