Regular office hours are 8:00AM to 5:00PM Monday through Friday. May be required to work overtime depending on workload.

Responsible for supporting financial operations by handling administrative and accounting tasks. Involves a mix of bookkeeping, financial reporting and clerical work to ensure smooth accounting processes.
o Managing collections and following up on outstanding receivables.
o Assisting with journal entries and ledger maintenance
o Coordinating with vendors, clients, and internal teams regarding payments and billing
o Assisting with payroll processing and expense reimbursements.
o Ensuring financial transactions comply with company policies and regulations
o Assisting with audits by preparing required documentation
o Using accounting software (preferably Sage 100 Contractor or Masterbuilder) to record and process transactions.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function and preferably can also perform other tasks satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
§ Two years accounting experience with one year being directly related to Accounts Receivable.
§ 5 years construction experience in accounts receivable/accounting with Sage 100/Masterbuilder and/or Timberline software experience.
§ Two years of college course work in business, accounting or a related field.
§ Knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
§ Knowledge of construction contract principles and practices.
§ Experience with accounts receivable, accounts payable and bookkeeping.
§ Knowledge of office protocol and the ability to effectively work as a member of a team.
§ Knowledge of and ability to use computer hardware, electronic data base management and related software.
§ Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
§ Knowledge of and ability to use office equipment, i.e., phones, copier, fax.
§ Ability to maintain a high volume of entry which requires typing and the use of a 10 key
§ Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally with others.
§ Ability to work well with others and able to prioritize workloads and flexible enough to change gears when needed.
