General Summary
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles to support the maintenance of accurate financial records and compliance with regulatory standards. Key responsibilities include reconciling account balances, assisting with the month-end close process, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of all accounting operations within the company.
Primary functions & responsibilities
•Record and reconcile general ledger transactions through accurate journal entries.
•Lead the customer billing and invoicing process, ensuring timely and accurate issuance of invoices.
•Drive revenue collection by executing cash collection protocols, proactively resolving delinquent accounts, and ensuring timely customer communication regarding payment discrepancies.
•Collaborate with the Accounting Manager and cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, operations, and procurement) to resolve financial matters in a timely and effective manner.
•Assist in the monthly close process, including the preparation and consolidation of statutory financial statements such as the profit & loss statement and balance sheet.
•Support audit processes by compiling financial records, preparing required documentation, and facilitating auditor requests.
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA or CMA) is a plus.
•5-7 years of experience in general accounting practices and procedures
•Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis tools.
•Experience with Microsoft Navision (NAV) is preferred but not required.
•Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
•Strong analytical and quantitative skills٫ with accuracy and attention to detail
•Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
