Sr. IBM Netcool/Omnibus Engineer

Richmond, VA (On-Site)

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. IBM Netcool/Omnibus Engineer for a contract position based on-site in Richmond, VA. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-wide event management infrastructures utilizing IBM Netcool/Omnibus. You will support modernization efforts by developing automation solutions, troubleshooting complex system issues, and ensuring high availability of critical monitoring platforms. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the security and efficiency of our nation’s financial infrastructure in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Your expertise will be vital in optimizing our event management tools, integrating across systems, and supporting active migration projects alongside leading IT professionals.

Top Requirements:

- Strong IBM Netcool/Omnibus experience, including ObjectServer, probes, event correlation, and performance tuning

- Proficiency in integration and scripting (APIs, webhooks, ServiceNow, Dynatrace, Python, Bash)

- Solid Linux administration skills (RHEL), with troubleshooting capabilities in networking and end-to-end system debugging
